Existing dark pigmentation, caused by either natural tone or previous tattoo work, can alter the outcome of full blush treatments causing unpredictable colour results. Those with darker skin or Asian heritage have a naturally darker lip base.

To achieve the intended look we recommend neutralisation of lips with pigmentation problems, prior to full lip blush treatment. Depending on severity, multiple treatments may be necessary. 

• Level 1: Medium, brown overall tone. May require one visit for neutralisation.
• Level 2: Dark, brown pigmentation, usually found in those with Asian heritage. May require two visits for neutralisation.
• Level 3: Naturally dark lips with deep purple undertones or previous tattooing. May require three visits for neutralisation.

Follow up

A touch up treatment (included in the fee) is necessary between 6 – 8 weeks.

Eligibility

Treatments are not suitable for heavy smokers or those with Diabetes 2.

If you are new to Glowtique; have never had a semi-permanent procedure before; have health conditions or are currently taking medication; please book in for a 'lip consultation' first. This consultation fee is 100% deducted from further semi-permanent treatment.
